Orgasm in the Origin

Bell curve

A natural way of thinking about orgasm is a kind of bell curve because of the way sexual arousal works in the nature; starting with the interest and slowing down after the orgasm. When we set such a bell curve of nature in Cartesian XY coordinates we note that orgasm is at the most distant point from the origin and the point of rest is a fully latent state with no sexual tension at all.

Physical orgasm
Much depends on the coordinate system view on what we think an orgasm is. For it can be considered a technicality, more necessary for the male than the female, something that just ends the period of lusty arousal. We might imagine that there are men for whom making love is simply masturbating using another human as a tool for his own pleasure. Perhaps there are such females, as well. But this is only the physical part of the act and can never be truly satisfactory beyond the feelings of pleasure and accomplishment.

Becoming one
Gospel of Matthew tells that when Jesus of Nazareth was asked about divorce that the Law of Moses allows He gave a very deep answer referring to the Creation story in the beginning of the Bible:
Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?”
“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
Matthew 19:3-6 NIV

The point here is that sexual act (that as we know culminates in orgasm) is unification of flesh. The man and woman becoming one is the deepest meaning of marriage. Jesus is talking about the unity that is expressed in the Book of Genesis in this way
So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27 NIV
We easily miss the point here and think that marriage is the Amen of the priest or rabbi or imam - but Jesus says that sexual act, the essence of being male and female, is becoming one as God is one. It is highly recommended that young man waits for the right one and stays faithfully with her for the rest of life - hopefully also getting married with her.

Orgasm in the Origin

If we look at the height of the heat of passion in this way as greatest unity we can reverse the bell curve into a parabola and say that the point of rest is the fulfilment - orgasm - is in the origin of the Cartesian coordinate system and anything away from it is tension.

What humans most deeply need is the being one with the other and loneliness is such a sad word. Once the time for sex is over and golden age calms the hormones the being one remains till death does us apart.

I think it is called love.

Without love sexual act can never reach the height God intended for it - man and woman becoming one not only physically but as complete human beings.

What about marriage in Heaven?
If orgasm is fulfilment in man and woman becoming one image of God what about the heavens?

Well, while the Pharisees were interested about the technicalities of law and they doubted - quite rightly so - that Jesus was against divorce and asked him about it.

The Sadducees, on the other hand, did not believe in the new teaching that had reached Judaism about resurrection of the dead. They ridiculed it and very cleverly asked Jesus about sex and marriage in the coming life. It was a tight spot for Jesus and the crowd was holding breath what he would say. After his answer nobody deared to ask him anything!
Some of the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Jesus with a question. “Teacher,” they said, “Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man must marry the widow and raise up offspring for his brother. Now there were seven brothers. The first one married a woman and died childless. The second and then the third married her, and in the same way the seven died, leaving no children. Finally, the woman died too. Now then, at the resurrection whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her?”

Jesus replied, “The people of this age marry and are given in marriage. But those who are considered worthy of taking part in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God’s children, since they are children of the resurrection.
But in the account of the burning bush, even Moses showed that the dead rise, for he calls the Lord ‘the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.”

Some of the teachers of the law responded, “Well said, teacher!” And no one dared to ask him any more questions.
Luke 20:27-40 NIV
There may be people who after hearing what Jesus said about no sex in heaven "okay, I do not want to go there and get bored!" as if there was sex in the other place...

Profound mystery
There is more to this than physical arousal and satisfaction - Orgasm in the Origin is full and complete unity of man and woman.

Bible has quite tender teaching in the parable of Jesus about the wedding of the King's Son and other parables and also in the secrets Apostle Paul is pointing at when talking about Christ and His bride, the congregation.

In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— for we are members of his body.

“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
Eph 5:28-33 NIV

Heavenly wedding!
This great unification is not physical orgy or orgasm but full and complete unity that brings total satisfaction. Nobody who has been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb and has entered the Heavenly wedding will lack anything at all - the satisfaction is complete in a way it can never be in the flesh.
Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:

“Hallelujah!
For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and be glad
    and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
Fine linen, bright and clean,
    was given her to wear.”
Rev 19:6-8 NIV
